This Privacy Policy explains how MAZ GLOBAL KOZMETİK GIDA İNŞAAT LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ (“Ovelivia”, “we”, “us”), the developer and operator of the Ovelivia mobile app (the “App”), collects, uses and protects your personal data and how you can exercise your rights. Ovelivia is an app designed for women's health, period and cycle tracking.
Your privacy is our priority. Your health data is end-to-end encrypted; it is not used for advertising, never shared and never sold. This policy is prepared to be consistent with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (“KVKK” No. 6698) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).
By using the App you acknowledge that you have read and understood the processing activities described here. Processing of your special category (health) data is additionally based on your explicit consent.
1. Data Controller and Contact
Your personal data is processed by MAZ GLOBAL KOZMETİK GIDA İNŞAAT LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ acting as the data controller.

2. Personal Data We Collect
We only collect data necessary to provide the App's features. What we collect depends on your usage and the features you choose:
a) Data you provide directly
- Profile information: your name or nickname, date of birth.
- Your goal (mode): cycle tracking, trying to conceive, or pregnancy.
- Cycle and period data: period start/end dates, cycle length, period duration, regularity.
- Daily logs: symptoms, mood, flow level and your free-text notes.
- Optional health information: height, weight and any reproductive health conditions you report (e.g. PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids).
- Pregnancy and postpartum data: estimated due date, weekly logs, postpartum bleeding level and feeding method.
- Partner sharing: if you choose to share, a pairing code and connection information.
b) Data generated automatically while you use the App
The App does not use third-party advertising identifiers or ad-tracking technologies to track you.
- Technical data: basic device and app information required for the App to run and manage your session.
- Preferences: language selection (Turkish/English) and your in-app settings.
3. Special Category (Health) Data
Period, cycle, symptom, mood and pregnancy information constitutes special category personal data (health data) and is subject to a higher level of protection.
We process this data solely based on your explicit consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time and delete your data from within the App. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Ovelivia is not a diagnostic tool and does not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a professional for health decisions.
4. Purposes of Processing and Legal Bases
We process your personal data for the following purposes and legal bases:
- To calculate your cycle and provide period, ovulation and fertile-window predictions (explicit consent / performance of a contract).
- To generate personal insights, recommendations and health-assistant responses (explicit consent).
- To provide pregnancy and postpartum tracking and weekly development information (explicit consent).
- To share your cycle information with your partner subject to your consent (explicit consent).
- To deliver the App's core features and ensure its security and continuity (legitimate interest / performance of a contract).
- To comply with our legal obligations (legal obligation).
5. Data Storage, Security and Infrastructure
Security
Your health data is protected with end-to-end encryption. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration and misuse.
Infrastructure and processors
We use the Supabase service for the App's database and authentication infrastructure. This provider processes data only to deliver the service and in accordance with our instructions, subject to confidentiality and security obligations.
Retention
Your data is retained while your account is active or for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. When you delete your account, the related personal data is permanently deleted within a reasonable period; only data subject to a legal retention obligation may be kept for the relevant period.
6. Partner Sharing
If you wish, you can share your cycle information with a trusted partner via a pairing code. This sharing is enabled only with your consent and is read-only; your partner cannot access your personal notes.
The shared information is limited to your current cycle day, phase, possible symptoms for that day, and a pregnancy-chance level. You can stop sharing and unlink at any time.
7. Sharing and Transfer of Data to Third Parties
We do not share or sell your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Your data may be shared only with infrastructure providers necessary to deliver the service (e.g. hosting, database) and with authorized public authorities where required by a legal obligation.
Our infrastructure providers' servers may be located abroad. In such cases, your data is transferred with the safeguards required by KVKK and applicable law (explicit consent or appropriate protective measures).
9. Children's Privacy
Ovelivia is not directed at children. We did not design the App for use by minors and do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it.
10. Your Rights
Under KVKK (Article 11) and, where applicable, GDPR, you have the following rights:
- To learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, to request information about it.
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose.
- To access your data and receive a copy (data portability).
- To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
- To request erasure or destruction of your data.
- To object to processing and to withdraw your explicit consent.
- To request compensation if you suffer damage.

11. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. For significant changes we will notify you via the App or on this page. The current effective date is stated at the top of the page. Continuing to use the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
